Random (which is different than radon and probably not as dangerous)

1.  Holy Cow, it’s OCTOBER!!  I cannot believe how fast this fall is flying by.

2.  “The Office” is back, and I am one happy woman.  It was nice to see last week’s episode being held mainly in the actual office.  Last season they were off-site a lot, and I think the show lost some of its original appeal.

3.  I love chocolate.  Loooove it.  Actually, I just love sugar.  Which is why I’m so sad that I read this yesterday.  I read it as I was eating chocolate frosting from a can.  I’m serious.

4.  I tried some pumpkin beer this weekend.  I don’t like the taste of alcohol, so I don’t drink, but someone handed me a sample to taste, and I thought, “Why not?”  (Does that qualify as a compound, complex sentence?  That sounds better than calling it a run-on.)  Anyway, now I know “why not.”  Pumpkin beer tastes as nasty as it sounds.

  1. I am totally with you on the Office comment. I like the episodes MUCH better when they are in the actual office.

  2. First, I, also am a HUGE Office fan. Yeah!

Second, I would think the concept of Pumpkin Beer would be enough to steer clear of it, but you are a brave woman for trying.

Third, and most importantly, I think Mercola.com causes depression and insanity, and 28% of the people who read their site develop some form of cancer. You should avoid their website, and by extension, their information at all cost.

  3. Yes! Office fan too. I would still only give this last episode a 7 out of 10. It really needs to be funnier – like stapler in the jello mold, burned foot on the Formen grill funny. You know?

  4. Not sure about the pumpkin beer, but totally agree with everything else. Love The Office and chocolate.

    Thanks for the birthday wishes.
