Sickies in da’ house!

Dear sweet boy,

As you told me last night in your small, shaky voice, “Throwing up is no fun.”  I completely agree.  However, you should also know that cleaning up afterwards is no fun either.  This is why I must thank you.  Thank you for aiming for the large, plastic lid to the lego tub that was lying on your floor.  I can’t tell you how much easier it was to clean this lid than it would have been to clean the carpet.

Okay, I know you really didn’t “aim” there per se.  But you were responsible for leaving the lid next to your bed in just the right spot instead of on top of the lego tub where it belonged.  And for that, I thank you.  Just this once.

  1. It’s not often that leaving a mess can prevent a bigger mess – glad that worked out for you!!! Sorry to hear about the sickness – that’s never any fun, but i really hope YOU don’t get too much exposure to those germs!!!
    BTW – March 19th is St. Joseph’s Day – an appropriate b-day! 😉

  2. Isn’t it nice when you have a thoughtful puker in the house! 🙂 My youngest daughter loves to carry around a big bowl when she’s sick. Hope you don’t get sick too!!
